From our brochure or website, select the plan you like best and discuss with
our friendly consultants any changes you want done to it. They will then give
you a written quotation based on your changes.
After you have accepted our quotation and all the details are explained,
we will prepare house plans for your local Council and contractors.
You then lodge the plans with the Council for approval.
When you have Council approval, its now time for your contractor or builder to
construct footing and foundations to fl oor level and install sub fl oor drainage.
Keep in mind the need to familiarise yourself with the construction manual prior
to building.
On the agreed date, Paal will deliver the materials for lock-up (stage 1) of
your kit home.
Time now to erect the kit to lock-up stage. Simply follow the instructions in
Paal’s detailed construction manual. Your plumber and electrician can then
install water pipes and electrical wiring in the frame.
Tell Paal when you are ready for delivery of internal materials and PC items,
and they will arrange delivery. Allow approx. 4 weeks for delivery of insulation
and plasterboard, and 6 weeks for supply of kitchen and PCs.
Fix the internal materials like Gyprock, internal doors and tiles. Install the
kitchen and have the plumber and electrician connect the stove, hot water
system, taps, power points, etc.
Finally apply the fi nishing touches like painting, stand back and admire your
achievements. You’ve done a great job!
