Paal Frame’s exclusive H-section DOUBLE STUD used in wall framing provides superior high tensile strength. Paal Frame’s bolt together roof trusses are produced from heavy duty 1.9mm high tensile steel.

Did you know that the Paal roof truss and wall frame system has undergone full scale testing at the CSIRO Testing Laboratories for Building, Construction and Engineering in North Ryde, NSW. The CSIRO has completed a year of testing on Paal's steel-framed modular building system.

The exhaustive testing process, which included both wall frame and roof frame components, shows the company's commitment to product excellence.

"The CSIRO has full scale testing facilities which are not usually available to our engineers," said Paal Managing Director Chris Nobis.

"Although we did on-site testing at Paal's factory, as our range of homes and design choices grew, we wanted to be convinced that all the components were perfectly engineered for each situation."

"And since Paal's home kits are sent all over New South Wales and beyond, we needed to be totally confident that our houses would meet a wide range of climatic condition," he said.

CSIRO project leader Dr Sam Samarasinghe said:
"Our numerical model took us about eight months to develop. This was a substantial investigation for the CSIRO and was far from routine. We consider it a significant piece of applied research."
